Howard County Inmate Search

Information regarding inmates currently housed in the Howard County Jail is made available as a public service and in the interest of public safety.

The Howard County Jail is responsible for updating the information contained on the Howard County Inmate Search website regularly to ensure the completeness and accuracy of it. However, as the information may change quickly, the information on this website may not reflect the current status of an inmate. Try to refresh the website periodically to get the most recent information.

It is important to remember that the inmate’s incarceration does not always mean they have been found guilty of a crime, as the county jail also houses people who are awaiting trial.

Inmate Money

Inmates are not permitted to possess cash in the Howard County Jail. All money should be deposited into an account to be used for phone calls, medical treatments, and commissary purchases.

Money must be added to the inmate’s account by Sunday midnight to allow inmates to order commissary items for the following week.

There are three ways to add funds to an inmate’s account.

Money orders that are no more than $50.00 can be mailed to the jail of the inmate. Funds with a minimum of $5.00 can be added to an inmate’s account using the kiosk in the Howard County Criminal Justice Center lobby. Credit cards, debit cards, and cash are accepted by the machine. Funds can also be added to an inmate’s account using Access Secure Deposits online on the website accesscorrections.com.
